Important information about using this website, submitting intake information, and working with Attain Disability Advocates on a Social Security disability claim.
General Website Information
The information on this website is general in nature and may not apply to every claimant, medical condition, work history, benefit program, appeal posture, or Social Security disability case. Social Security disability claims are fact-specific and depend on records, deadlines, agency rules, medical evidence, vocational factors, and the stage of the claim.
Disability Representation
Attain Disability Advocates may provide professional disability advocacy, claim-support, and representation services for Social Security disability matters. Visiting this website, submitting an intake form, calling, emailing, or exchanging preliminary information does not by itself establish a representative relationship.
Representation begins only after Attain agrees to represent the claimant and the required agreements, appointments, authorizations, or related documents are completed. Where applicable, this may include Social Security Administration representative appointment procedures such as Form SSA-1696, and representative registration or direct payment requirements such as SSA-1699.
No Guaranteed Outcome
Attain does not promise approval, benefits, faster processing, a specific onset date, a specific disability finding, a particular past-due benefit amount, or any other outcome. The Social Security Administration, Disability Determination Services, administrative law judges, the Appeals Council, or other responsible decision-makers control claim decisions and processing timelines.
Fees and Free Case Review
A free case review is a preliminary opportunity to discuss a potential claim or appeal. It is separate from any later representation services.
If Attain represents a claimant, any representative fee is governed by written agreement and applicable SSA authorization and rules. Under the SSA fee agreement process, representative fees generally may not exceed the lesser of 25% of past-due benefits or the applicable SSA dollar cap, currently $9,200. Different fee procedures or expense arrangements may apply in some circumstances, subject to SSA rules and written terms.
Deadlines and Urgent Matters
Claimants should not rely on a website submission alone to protect filing deadlines, appeal deadlines, hearing deadlines, continuing-disability-review deadlines, or other time-sensitive Social Security matters. If a deadline may be approaching, contact Attain or the Social Security Administration promptly.
